Human development
Human development .. illusion or reality? The concept of human development for many of us has recently changed 180°. After that, people sought it as something that would help them achieve success, financial independence and wealth. It turned into something that people disavowed, as the phrase “human development” became a term given to the empty thing. If someone told you this is the words of human development. It means that it is useless talk or talk in the air as we say it in our colloquial dialect. Is the science of human development really empty talk?
The origin of the name Human Development
To answer this question, we must go back to the origin of the word, its history, and what helped bring it to us in the twenty-first century.
After World War II, the United Nations was established to take upon itself the development of war-affected countries. It included: urban development, educational development, health development, and so on. All under the term “human development”. And as we can see in the picture below, the use of the word “Human Development” has grown since 1945 to the present day.
What does all this have to do with the development that we know from attending courses, books and videos on YouTube? Don't worry, dear brother, go get a cup of coffee or your favorite drink and focus with me. In that period, books of so-called self-help began, which are books that deal with success stories of people who have achieved wealth and positively affected society. These books have been remarkably successful, as the book “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill published in 1937 is still ranked first on Amazon in terms of sales.
The development that took place
From that time until the beginning of the twenty-first century, the terms human development and self-development are still separate. The former was the preserve of higher organizations such as the United Nations and had nothing to do with individuals. But the one who is credited with confusing them is Dr. Ibrahim al-Fiqi, may God have mercy on him, who was known as the pioneer of human development. And he was the first to encourage us to realize our dreams at a time when everyone is betting on your failure. But despite much ado about him that he stole some of his words from his ancestors who were not famous but that does not hide the fact that he helped many people in her life.
It is also due to him the merit of making many people relate to her religion. But the problems started after him, as people thought it was an easy thing. So many people started giving lectures and making money by taking advantage of people who are just looking for something to motivate them. It is true that at first they feel ecstasy, but then that feeling quickly disappears. This is in addition to the farce that was perpetrated by those who do not understand anything, such as the child who said that he is the youngest human development coach in Egypt. Or a group of women who imagine that they are climbing the mountain and entering the Lion's Cave
How do you differentiate between truth and illusion?
And now that we understand what human development is, comes the most important question. How do I differentiate between truth and illusion? Therefore, if you find these signs in someone, write it off immediately. Talking about energy, vital energy, human energy, energy orbits, energy centers. All these terms came from pagan religions and have nothing to do with the truth, nor with science or Islam. Also called Neuro Linguistic Programming. Also, if you find him mentioning the book “The Secret” which talks about the Law of Attraction, which means that you can attract things just by thinking about them, stay away from him immediately.
final answer
Is human development a reality or an illusion? That depends on your concept of it. Do you view it as a term created by the United Nations? Or published by Dr. Ibrahim al-Feki. If you consider it a synonym for self-development, it is generally not an illusion nor a myth. But you should beware of swindlers in that area.
In conclusion, I would like to thank you, dear reader, for taking your precious time. And I hope you will publish the article so that it may benefit people, as well as not an order 🙂
